About the event

During this tour you can relax and learn about some of our most treasured trees comprising the maritime forest canopy of Amelia Island and how they help to preserve it. Experience firsthand the impact these magnificent trees have on our community while being entertained by their unique stories.

We will be traveling down some of our storied canopy roads and pointing out six trees which have recently been designated as Heritage Trees. We will also go to Amelia City to learn about historic Gerbing Gardens and the recent designation of Shadow Woods Lane as a Canopy Road.
